The main difference is screen size: the 850 G7 offers a larger and more comfortable 15.6" screen for multi-window work, while the 830 G7 (13.3") is more compact and lighter (~1.33 kg vs 1.75 kg) for mobility. The 850 G7 also has a native RJ45 Ethernet port, absent on the 830 G7.
